The Mountaineer Food Bank received almost 30,000 pounds of much needed food from The Church of Latter-Day Saints.
The donation, which was coordinated with the Day of Service on September 29 proclaimed by Gov. Early Ray Tomblin, was made up of 16 pallets of food including beef stew, chili, spaghetti, tuna, peanut butter and macaroni and cheese, according to a new release from the food bank.
