Currently the Doddridge County Office of Emergency Services is CLOSED.
Over the weekend up to this morning, the area has received around 2 ¾ inches total rainfall from a passing cold front.
It is currently 32 degrees. Wet snow is falling.
The effects of Hurricane Sandy are reported to be lasting in the area until @ noon October 31st..
There remains a Wind Advisory until 5pm and Flood Watch until late tonight.
All schools in Doddridge County will be closed on Tue. Oct. 30, 2012 due to inclement weather conditions. (PER WVDE http://wvde.state.wv.us/closings)
There are no county roads closed.
No known or reported flooding.
There are 5 homes without power.

The Courthouse is OPEN.
Town of West Union OPEN and Trick or Treating has NOT been cancelled.
The DCOES will be mobile reviewing the local situation.
The DCOES will open when necessary at the West Union VFD and will be able to be reached for assistance considered non medical or fire emergencies @ 304-873-1391.
