Citizens of Doddridge County, I believe that Doddridge County deserves a Sheriff that will be nonpartisan, treating all citizens with dignity and respect. AL THOMAS IS A STABLE FAMILY MAN. He and his wife Diane have lived on Big Battle Road in Doddridge County for 32 years where they raised two children, Jason and Sonya. Both are currently employed as public school teachers in Harrison County. His educational background includes two years
of ROTC and psychology classes through Penn State University.

AS SHERIFF, GOOD MANAGEMENT IS KEY. Al has a wealth real life experience in management. He owns a thriving local business where he is responsible for public relations, purchasing, bookkeeping, employee management and security. He has worked with local police and volunteer firemen for 12 years. Previously, Al managed Chrysler and GM stores where he worked cooperatively with suppliers, advised senior management, and trained approximately thirty technicians.

IF ELECTED, AI PLANS TO REDUCE THE SHERIFF DEPARTMENT’S BUDGET BY 10% WITHOUT REDUCING SERVICES OR SAFETY. He intends to improve public safety by having an officer on duty 24 hours a day, every day. Additionally, he would assure that the tax department is open
during regular business hours. He would encourage the Drug Task force to increase their involvement throughout the county.
