Energize WV and ANGA Hosting Additional Town Hall Meetings to Meet Citizens and Answer Questions

It is unfortunate that these meetings have been announced at the last minute on local TV news outlets (Such as the one in Bridgeport on September 10th and Sistersville on September 18th. Only those who have the luxury to make a quick last minute decision made it to these two sparsely attended meetings.

This time around we have some advanced notice to attend and those having some pointed questions should make plans to show up and be vocal, not boisterous, just vocal and armed with facts.




"The second round of town hall meetings feature a brief powerpoint presentation and video that provide an in-depth look at the process of hydraulic fracturing of gas wells. Highlights of the presentation also include ways in which the industry protects groundwater during the drilling process, and other safe and responsible practices used to extract the cleanest-burning fossil fuel. Following the presentation, a panel of industry experts will be on hand to answer questions."

The town hall meetings are free and open to the public.

All meetings are conducted from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Following is the schedule of town hall meeting dates and locations:
